We had an amazing experience working with Suzanne and Above and Beyond Interiors Inc. From the outset of our project, Suzanne was incredible, listening to all our requests for the bathroom revamp and providing us with a design concept we never could have come up with by ourselves. Her keen attention to detail, excellent project management, contractor coordination and communication made the project run smoothly and within our budget. I was thoroughly impressed with Suzanne's ability to integrate our family's existing home design tastes into our project, and recreate our bathroom into a new and improved spa-like space. The renovation is everything we wished for and more and we would highly recommend Suzanne and Above and Beyond Interiors for anyone looking to refresh their space through interior design and/or home renovations.

“Wow” is the reaction we have received for our new master ensuite bathroom. Suzanne worked diligently to give us a beautiful bathroom that combines beauty and comfort in our senior years. Now the cubicle shower has been replaced with a glassed-in version with folding seat, multiple shower heads and attractive support bars. A heater was installed in the ceiling just outside the shower to keep us warm as we step out. A wall-hung custom vanity with specially divided drawers replaced difficult-to-access cabinets. The entrance from the master bedroom was widened and a beautiful glass sliding door was added so that entry is now more accessible and, even with arthritis, the door is easy to move. We highly recommend Suzanne with her many years of experience. She is easy to work with and has a strong desire to achieve her client’s objectives.

Suzanne was the interior decorator we chose to help us achieve our dream kitchen renovation. Our journey began with brainstorming a list of wants and needs, looking at colours, spacing, budget, and estimated timelines for various planning stages. Suzanne guided us tremendously and with confidence through the design process and the procurement of materials. She supported us through the entire project, monitoring progress and handling any issues or concerns that came up along the way with professionalism and efficiency. Our new kitchen is so much more functional with fantastic flow, plenty of storage, and wonderful open workspaces for preparing, cooking, and entertaining. We would certainly work with Suzanne again and highly recommend her!

I can’t say enough wonderful things about Suzanne. She took my limited vision for my space and translated it into a space I love more than I had imagined. Renovating and decorating through COVID was definitely challenging but Suzanne kept it on track and the final product is amazing. I now have a bathroom (with a walk-in shower), a walk in closet (with washer/dryer) and spacious bedroom. It started as two bedrooms and a small bathroom. Now it’s a beautiful and comfortable space to live. It’s my new happy place for sure.

We were excited by the fact that Suzanne does accessible aging-in-place design work because we were looking at renovating a particular spot for an older relative, and we also wanted to make sure our own space was a space we could comfortably transition into old age. It’s always fun working with Suzanne because she keeps you excited by new ideas, new products, and new colour palettes, but all with your priorities in mind. So she curates things that would never occur to you, that she knows will work for your space and your lifestyle.

We appreciate that Above & Beyond Interiors did a great job designing a modest transformation to our small house to make it much safer and easier for our family member with limited mobility to stay in her house and be safer and more independent.
