Meet Suzanne,

Certified Aging in Place Specialist and Interior Design Professional with 20 Years of Experience

As a long-time interior designer based in Stouffville, Ontario, I’ve spent two decades helping homeowners across York and Durham Region improve the beauty, functionality, and comfort of their kitchens and bathrooms.

Over time, I began to notice a recurring theme: many of my clients were unsure how to prepare their homes for the years ahead. Needing to evolve with multigenerational families, the changing needs of aging parents and progressive health concerns is crucial to good design that will last.

Our Projects

Client Reviews

I had the pleasure of working with Suzanne Hallam virtually for help with our sunroom addition at the cottage. She was amazing to work with and provided great insight, making me confident in pieces we were using, and really putting the whole thing together. She helped us with big picture ideas, as well as small details. She would give me an idea and then email examples by way of pictures. She really helped pull together the right colours and feel for the room so it would flow with the adjoining room in the existing cottage. We discussed flooring, lighting and fans, couches and chaise lounge (for a beautiful reading nook overlooking the lake) and more! It was an absolute pleasure having Suzanne on board!

Our family was delighted with the help Suzanne provided to us for our basement layout and choosing paint colors for our home. She was a real catalyst for change and got us unstuck! We look forward to continuing to work with her as we update our home.

~T.F.-Markham, ON

Very happy with the professional guidance we received from Suzanne on our new bathroom project. The design process was comprehensive yet efficient. We also appreciated her real-world experience, which led us to make some fun and functional changes to our original design. Suzanne connected us with her tradespeople who completed the build in a timely and cost-effective way. The end result is a showcase bathroom that you might see in magazines and web sites. We couldn't be happier with our finished product. Thank you Suzanne!
